About Mariëtte van Hoeve
Mariëtte was born in the Netherlands but grew up in different parts of the world. After her Tourism education, she ended up in the hospitality industry, the ultimate “school of life”.
In 1995 Mariëtte came into contact with the trainer through a trainer friend. It was love at first sight. The decision was therefore immediately made to learn the trade “on the job”. The scripts and formats quickly ended up in a corner of the room (“because that makes you itch!”) And she experimented with different forms of training. Because an official piece of paper turned out to be useful, she followed a course at the J.J. Trainers Academy in Amsterdam and thus became a certified and certified trainer. During that period she also obtained her DISC and MTBI certification and followed several NLP courses.
In 2009, after her emigration to Australia, Mariëtte discovered that coaching was also perfect for her. She completed the training at the International Coach Academy and, now back in the Netherlands, worked for an agency in Amsterdam. Here she trained from top to bottom and from individual to group, for ABN Amro, Rituals, Egeria, Vodafone Ziggo and van Lanschot Kempen.
In 2015, Mariëtte took a private leap of faith and decided to orient herself on the free life. This resulted in a blended form of working offline and online, as she still applies it today. She does not call herself a digital nomad, but someone who lives, works and lives mobile. Since then, she has worked as a trainer on various international KLM projects, and has entered into foreign partnerships, such as with Wonderlijk Werken and local projects in the countries she visits.
